1995 Field Hockey Team

The 1995 Manasquan High School Field Hockey Team holds an important place in program history as the group that helped spark a sustained period of success for Manasquan Field Hockey throughout the 1990s.

The team finished the season with an impressive 14-5-2 record, capturing both the Central Jersey Group II Championship and the Shore Conference “B” South Championship. Their postseason run also included a trip to the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals, further establishing Manasquan as one of the top field hockey programs in the area.

The Warriors earned statewide recognition by finishing the season ranked 16th in the final New Jersey team rankings. Individually, the team featured four standout players who received All-Shore, All-State, and All-“B” South Conference honors, reflecting the depth, talent, and competitiveness of the roster.

One of the defining moments of the season came in a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory over Allentown High School, decided on penalty strokes. That win captured the toughness and poise of a team that consistently delivered in pressure moments.
