2000 Football Team

The 2000 Manasquan Football Team was one of the most dominant and disciplined teams of its era, combining a powerful offense with an outstanding defensive identity.

Finishing the season with an 11-1 record, the Warriors established themselves as one of the top teams in the Shore Conference and ended the year ranked #5 in the Shore. The team consistently controlled games on both sides of the ball, outscoring opponents by a combined margin of 319-72.

Defensively, the 2000 team was exceptional. Over the final eight games of the season, Manasquan allowed an average of only 4 points per game and recorded six shutouts. In the state playoffs, the Warriors allowed just 3 total points, demonstrating the toughness, preparation, and execution that defined the group.

Many members of the 2000 team were juniors who would go on to play a major role in the success of the 2001 team, making this group an important bridge in one of Manasquan football’s strongest eras. Their 11-win season, defensive dominance, and place among the Shore’s best teams earned the 2000 Football Team a lasting place in Manasquan High School athletic history.
