Doris Sable Burke

Doris Sable Burke is one of the most accomplished athletes in Manasquan High School history. During her career at MHS, she set the all-time girls basketball scoring record with 1,384 career points — a mark that stood as the standard of excellence.


Burke took her game to Providence College, where she set 7 career records and established herself as one of the finest players in Big East history. After her playing career, she transitioned into broadcasting, joining ESPN as a basketball analyst.


Burke made history as the first woman to broadcast a New York Knicks game, breaking barriers in sports media and inspiring a generation of female sports journalists. Her career, from the courts of Manasquan to the national stage, represents the very best of what Warriors can achieve.
