Howard Dombroski represented the very best of Manasquan's multi-sport tradition, earning nine varsity letters across football, wrestling, and baseball. A member of the Class of 1960, he competed for the Big Blue during one of the proudest stretches in program history.
As a sophomore, Dombroski was part of Coach Hal Manson's legendary 1958 squad — a team that went 9-0, capturing both the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group III State Championship and the Shore Conference Class C title while allowing just 18 points all season, the all-time Manasquan record. That team recorded 7 shutouts, including 5 consecutive, with notable teammates Vic Kubu and G. Gerard Barnett.
Dombroski's dedication to three sports across four varsity seasons made him one of the most committed multi-sport Warriors of his era. His athletic legacy was honored with his induction into the Manasquan High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.

Nine varsity letters across three sports — a Warrior through and through.
