Jake Landfried was a two-sport standout for the Warriors, graduating in 1964 before going on to play professional football with the Denver Broncos of the American Football League.


After his playing career, Landfried returned to Manasquan as head baseball coach, where he built one of the most successful programs in the Shore Conference. He compiled 338 career wins and seven Shore Conference Championships, establishing MHS baseball as a perennial powerhouse.


The school retired his jersey number 22 in recognition of his extraordinary contributions as both a player and a coach. Jake Landfried's legacy spans generations of Warrior athletes.
