Jeffrey C. Osborn dedicated his professional life to Manasquan High School and its students, beginning his career as a history teacher and freshman coach in 1971. He rose through the ranks to serve as vice principal and then principal, leading the school from 1981 to 2000.

During his tenure, Osborn oversaw the 1995 high school building addition and founded the Manasquan High School Endowment/Alumni Association in 1991, establishing a lasting financial foundation for the school's academic and athletic programs. He served as the Monmouth County Principal's representative to the Shore Conference Executive Committee for the entirety of his principalship.

His leadership was recognized at the highest levels of New Jersey education, serving as President of both the Monmouth County Principal's Association and the NJ Principals and Supervisors Association. After retirement, he continued educating as a professor at The College of New Jersey from 2002 to 2010.
