Jim Grasdorf

Jim Grasdorf stands in a rare category of Manasquan athletes who earned All State recognition from the Associated Press in two different sports. An outstanding two-way competitor, Grasdorf earned All Shore honors from the Asbury Park Press and All State recognition from the AP in football in 1962, then repeated the double honor in basketball in 1963.

His three varsity letters in both football and basketball, plus a varsity letter in baseball, made him one of the most accomplished multi-sport athletes of his era at Manasquan. His back-to-back All State performances across two sports is a distinction that very few Warriors have ever achieved.
