Nancy Raffetto Schatzman

Nancy Raffetto Schatzman was a trailblazer for gymnastics at Manasquan High School, earning four varsity letters and serving as team captain every year of her career. As the top all-around gymnastic scorer for the Warriors all four years, she set the standard for the program.

Her excellence extended beyond gymnastics — she earned two additional varsity letters in track and field, and received the Harry Morris Outstanding Academic Athletic Award in 1978, recognizing both her academic and athletic achievements.

Schatzman earned a Division I athletic scholarship to Rutgers University, where she continued her gymnastics career as a four-year starter and was elected team captain in 1982 — bringing the Warrior tradition of leadership to the collegiate level.
