Football

Pete Cahill's commitment to Manasquan High School spans nearly four decades. Beginning in 1985 as a Health and Physical Education teacher, he became one of the most decorated and beloved figures in Warriors athletic history.

As head football coach from 2007 to 2010, Cahill compiled a 34-11 record and guided the Warriors to the 2008 Central Jersey Group II State Championship, along with Division Championship titles and Coach of the Year honors in 2008 and 2009. His run as head coach was the culmination of 39 years on the MHS football staff that produced 12 sectional state titles and nearly 400 varsity games coached.

Beyond football, Cahill also coached varsity tennis and golf, served as assistant principal, and served as Athletic Director from 2016 to 2022. He is a founding member of the Manasquan Gridiron Club and remains a pillar of the Warriors community.
