Rod Ravaioli

Rodney “Rod” Ravaioli dedicated much of his professional life to education and athletics, serving students and athletes in Point Pleasant and Manasquan for 40 years. As a coach, he made a lasting impact in both softball and tennis, helping build competitive programs while mentoring generations of student-athletes.

Ravaioli’s greatest athletic legacy came through tennis. His teams achieved major success, including an undefeated season that finished number one in the state. His commitment to the sport earned him statewide recognition, and he was listed by the NJSIAA among its Tennis Sports Award recipients in 2011 while representing Manasquan High School.

Beyond wins and championships, Ravaioli was known as a committed educator and coach who gave his time to the broader athletic community. He remained active in Shore Conference tennis and continued supporting Manasquan athletics through his work with student-athletes, tournaments, and school programs.

Rod Ravaioli’s Hall of Fame recognition honors a career built on teaching, coaching, leadership, and service to Manasquan High School athletics.
