Roy Henville

Roy Henville was one of the most decorated athletes of his era at Manasquan High School, earning 10 varsity letters across baseball, football, and basketball. He served as captain of the basketball team in his junior and senior years and was elected MHS Athletic Association President in 1938.

As a catcher on the baseball team, Henville was the best in New Jersey, earning both All-State and Shore Conference MVP honors in 1938. His career batting average of over .300 and his leadership behind the plate helped guide Manasquan to the Shore Conference Championship. His outstanding athletic career made him a natural inductee into the Manasquan Athletic Hall of Fame.
