Tom Morton was one of the finest two-sport athletes in Manasquan history, excelling in both football and wrestling. On the football field, he earned the prestigious Lombardi Award, given to the Shore Conference's top lineman.

In wrestling, Morton was equally dominant, winning two District 22 Championships and the Region 6 Championship before placing 6th at the NJ State Wrestling Tournament. His combination of strength, technique, and competitive spirit made him one of the most decorated athletes of his era at MHS.
