Vic Kubu's story is one of the great full-circle careers in Manasquan history. After playing football for the Warriors as a member of the Class of 1960, Kubu returned to lead the program as head coach, transforming it into a dynasty.
During his coaching tenure, Kubu amassed 196 wins and guided the Warriors to 10 New Jersey State Championships. His excellence on the sideline was recognized when MHS retired his jersey number 69 — a rare honor for a coach. He also founded the Long Blue Line Scholarship to give back to future Warriors.
In 2003, Kubu was inducted into the New Jersey Football Coaches Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the most impactful figures in the history of Manasquan athletics.

From Warrior player to legendary coach — 196 wins and 10 state titles.
